Runtime calculator
Power station runtime calculator
Runtime = capacity (Wh) × 0.85 ÷ load (W), with the station’s own draw added to the load where the maker lists it. An Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 (1,024 Wh) at 100 W: about 8.7 hours.

Runtime = Wh × 0.85 ÷ load. Rows include each station’s own draw where the maker lists it (BLUETTI Elite 30 V2 9 W, Elite 100 V2 10 W, AC180 15 W, AC200L 12 W, Elite 200 V2 10 W, Apex 300 20 W; Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 9 W).
Why 0.85
It covers the loss when the station makes 120 V AC, as Anker (guide) and Jackery (FAQ) do. Where the maker lists the station’s own draw (BLUETTI in its manuals (Elite 30 V2 manual), Anker for the C2000 Gen 2), we add it to the load.

What devices draw
| Device | Typical draw | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Fridge, US average | 70.4 W averaged (617 kWh a year) | EIA |
| CPAP, AirSense 10 | 7 W; 22 W with humidifier; 34 W with humidifier and heated tube | ResMed |
| Laptop | 50 W | Virginia Tech |
| LED bulb, 60 W equivalent | 8.5 W | Philips |
| 12 V fridge, Dometic CFX3 35 | about 12 W averaged (at 90°F room, 39°F inside) | Dometic |
| Starlink Standard | 75–100 W | Starlink |
| Space heater | 400–1,500 W | OCWR |
What changes the answer
- USB‑C and 12 V run longer than the table shows.
- Motors need extra power to start: some fridges two to three times their running power (Anker), some compressors two to four times (BLUETTI). Check the surge rating.
- Cold and battery age cut runtime. The planner’s reserve setting allows for both.
Quick answers
How long will a 1,000 Wh power station last?
About 17 h at 50 W, 8.5 h at 100 W, 4.3 h at 200 W.
Can it run my house?
Not on its own. Connecting to house circuits is a job for a licensed electrician.
